Nate Thurston made his mark this season, winning 6 races overall and 4 downhill races to establish himself as perhaps the dominant downhiller on the OCM circuit in S54. Chief among these targets was the Austrian race Bad Aussee, which based on the name alone was at the top of the list for any self-respecting Australian. Nate now nears a major milestone in OCM history as he now has 22 wins, leaving him with just 3 to go to become only the fourth Aussie on OCM's fabled Kenny Haakon list. At only 29 years of age we're sure he has a few more top seasons in the legs!
In other news, Millican has greatly improved the 'flat road' squad, which managed to score a few points this season in Division 3! We're still looking for a true captain, but the wolfpack approach seems to be starting to work under the right circumstances. Another season of experience should pay dividends for this very young squad.
